Background:
The Association of Pokhara University Public Health Students (APPS), established in 2009, is a student-led academic organization representing public health students of Pokhara University. Formed with the aim of strengthening collaboration among students, faculty, and the university administration, APPS serves as a common platform to promote public health principles and student participation in academic and professional responsibilities. The association works to foster unity, leadership, and a shared commitment to advancing public health education and practice.

Activities:
APPS actively organizes and supports a wide range of public health–related activities, including academic programs, awareness campaigns, workshops, seminars, training sessions, quizzes, and student-led initiatives. Through these activities, the association provides opportunities for students to enhance their knowledge, develop practical and leadership skills, share ideas, and engage in meaningful discussions on current public health issues. APPS also encourages collaboration and outreach beyond the university when appropriate, contributing to the overall growth and professional development of public health students.
